The National University of Singapore will redesign classes and find ways of making it easier for working adults to take classes.
This was announced recently by Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills) Ong Ye Kung in Parliament.
NUS will allow its undergraduates to be “enrolled” for 20 years and take continuing education and training (CET) courses after they have completed their degree and have found work.
All NUS alumni will be automatically eligible for these courses as part of the initiative called NUS Lifelong Learners.
Five hundred courses will be available in areas such as tech-enabled services, finance, urban solutions and data analytics.
