Full-time degree students graduating from the Singapore University of Social Sciences will now have electronic portfolios detailing their learning experiences.
The e-portfolios, or electronic portfolios, are kept by the students from day one. They include reflections on the courses they have taken, valuable skills they have gained, overseas stints, community service projects, and job internships.
The students will also receive an enhanced transcript covering a plethora of competencies mastered by the student, including their ability to communicate, and their problem-solving skills.
Students will be encouraged to keep updating their e-portfolios even after they graduate.
Recruitment consultants and employers agreed that the e-portfolio and enhanced transcript is a powerful way for job applicants to present their achievements.
