The Institute of Technical Education will be offering two new Nitec courses on video production as well as built environment (mechanical and electrical services).
The video production course trains graduates to work in the media industry as camera operators, lighting technicians or production assistants.
Students who complete built environment can be employed as facilities technicians.
Next year, ITE will expand its slate of programmes to include 44 Nitec courses, 51 Higher Nitec courses and 26 Traineeship courses.
The self-help group Mendaki will be offering assistance to parents and students who may need guidance on their academic options.
