The National University of Singapore Business School will be getting a new dean.
Andrew K. Rose, an economist, will be appointed Dean Designate of NUS Business School on March 1 next year.
He is slated to succeed current dean Professor Bernard Yeung.
Prof Rose received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prof Rose has previously worked with United States Federal Reserve chief Janet Yellen, Nobel Laureate George Akerlof and Harvard macroeconomics expert Jeffrey Frankel.
Prof Rose has also held appointments at the NUS Business School, including Monetary Authority of Singapore Term Professor (2015), and Wee Cho Yaw Visiting Fellow from 2012 to 2014 and 2016 to 2018.
Prof Rose’s research interests are in the areas of international trade, finance and macroeconomics.
The NUS Business School is known for providing management thought leadership from an Asian perspective, enabling its students and corporate partners to leverage global knowledge and Asian insights.
